Show every night! Doors open at 6 and Rodeo starts at 8pm! Events include: Bare back riding, Saddle bronc riding, Steer wrestling, Tie-down roping, Team roping, Cowgirl Breakaway roping, Cowgirl barrel racing, bull riding. Motorcycle Trick Riders the Steel Rodeo and Clown Brian Hope! During intermission there is a stick horse race for kids, as well as steer and gun raffles! Concessions are open all night!

67 Years of Tradition, Community & Service

In 1959, a single visionary—whose name has faded into history—took it upon himself to bring the excitement of rodeo to North Washington. What began with hay bale seating and borrowed benches on a patch of rented land quickly grew into something much bigger: a cherished annual tradition that now draws thousands each year.

Over time, the North Washington VFD Annual Rodeo evolved into more than just a celebration of Western grit—it became a rallying point for the community and a vital way to support our first responders. Today, it stands as the largest fundraising effort for the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department, helping to equip and empower the firefighters, EMTs, and rescue personnel who serve our town with bravery and heart.

Whether you’re cheering from the stands or lending a hand behind the scenes, you’re part of a legacy rooted in service, heart, and hometown pride. And as we mark our 65th year of rodeo tradition, we invite you to celebrate with us—because this story is yours, too.

Mark Weber

Mark Weber first entered the rodeo arena at the age of 5 competing in mutton busting. Over the years, Mark’s interest in rodeo led him to compete in bullriding, roping, and eventually move into the position of Professional Bullfighter. Mark has been one of the country’s top bullfighters for over 19 years, working coast to coast and even using his skills internationally, performing in Saudi Arabia at the King Abdulaziz Festival.



He holds the record at the International Finals Rodeo as the only 10X Finals Bullfighter. Mark didn’t stop there and is now a Professional Rodeo Clown and Entertainer where he uses his humor, experience, and love of rodeo to entertain crowds across the country. In just a few years of entertaining, he has already been selected to perform at the 2024 Bullriders of America Finals & was the IFR 55 Showcase Comedy Act Reserve Champion. 

When not at a rodeo, Mark is at his home in East Peoria, IL with his wife of 14 years, Rachel, and his four-year old daughter, Aspen. His hobbies include raising & training horses, hunting, and working in children’s ministries at his church.
